Darby Jean #63 | Villa's car-flogging party train

After a stoppage time penalty that gave Aston Villa an unlikely win against Wolves, scorer Anwar El Ghazi seemed content to celebrate with a fist pump where he stood.

But Calfmeister Grealish and his auto-flogging mob had other ideas. The team surrounded El Ghazi and urged his enthusiasm to greater heights.

“No, no, no. No. Let’s party,” they seemed to say.

And so they surged like a one-sided rugger scrum, a pack of Villains whooping and cavorting and dragging El Ghazi to the corner flag, where Tyrone Mings, armed with his giant smile and pasta bowl dreadlocks, towered above them all.

Say what you will about this Aston Villa crew, but they’re young and hungry and with not just a bit of a fire in their bellies right now. And it's fun as hell to watch.
